Madame Mary Magdalene

  1. My earlier critique didn't post. Wierd. I like the colors and layout, and concept. It reminds me of the shroud of Turin strangely. I do feel like the "superhero-ness" of Mary Magdalene is underdeveloped, but knowing you you, you probably started this at 7:30 this morning. JK Also, is it just me or is the font on the bottom strangely reminiscent of Nazi War Propaganda??

  3. I really like this one! The parchment and simplistic pen and ink linework give it a great feel! Its like a propaganda poster for a gladiator fight... I dig it

  4. Cool colors/ feel. I like that the line art is a dark red instead of black on the parchment. It does look like an ancient flyer or something. Nice lip action. Uh huh...(my typing Elvis impersonation)

  5. This is great Stephanie. It's a cool concept, and I love the weathered feel. Very Frazetta in body type. Only part I'm not getting is the net handbag... Does she carry stones in it? This is my fave piece from you so far.
