My son's drawing fully rendered

My boy, Jonah, drew this a few years ago. I posted early, got some feedback, made some adjustments, and now I don't want to mess with it anymore.

  1. While performing a headstand just for a drink of water seems highly inefficient, and contrary to the laws of physics i still think this is your best one yet, Raymond Duffy. That little puddle, while probably smitten with filth and disease is beautifully rendered.

I think that the green grassy areas on the rock face are a little distracting, and the b/g could use a little more care in the rendering. Other than that, home-run brother!

  2. Thanks Zach. I'll repost with corrections, starting with the grass that is now mocking me.

  4. Love it Ray! All the elements are there for this to be a masterpiece of epic proportions, I think you just need to go in an renderize the hell out of it even further. I also want to know about the science behind this though. I want to know why the man who is made of cheese has an antimatter core that glows when he drinks rain water. I won't be able to sleep until I know Ray.

  5. From a Russian wannabe, that's a real complement! Thanks Mark. Jonah hasn't seen it yet, but he's pretty much over me rendering his drawings.

And Arman, thanks, I will add to the rendering of the BG first chance, and I'll repost on Fri. Originally this guy was gonna be made of cheese, but then I saw the opportunity to create a new light source...

  8. Did anyone even notice the giant (possibly robot) guy in the background. Nice atmosphere. Even cooler that it's your sons original.
