Corporate Artists wasting their talent by day, and unleashing their art super powers by night!
as much as this project seemed like it would be fun, i lost my drive and couldn't take it as far as I had originally wanted to. Had a busy week, and I guess I just got bored. I also cheated and cropped off the feet since i didn't finsh them. I'm ready for NEXT WEEK.... i want to actually draw something instead of just coloring.
Mark, you're being too hard on yourself. I think out of any of us you stayed most true to the inspiration. This is really great, i let out an audible "wow" when i saw it. Very impressive brother!
I agree w/ Zach. This is one of my favs of yours so far. The texture brushes u made are great. I like that its still on the original paper on the desk too. Looks like he came to life. You managed to keep the childlike spirit/imagination intact.Love it!
Nice work Mark! I think the opportunity to draw was left alone with regard to backgrounds and such, but the end result is still awesomely rendered. It looks like a built up watercolor, lovely! And the feelers face has some awesomeness going on.
I really like that the background is the paper and the desk. It really feels like "if a kid full rendered it", which was the whole point of the project. The textures are awesome.
Nice work Mark. I really like your textures and blends.
I like it mark. It's weird how different I was imagining the monster. I thought he was kind of an abominable snowman from the first drawring. It's tough to let go and just run with this stuff isn't it?
im curious who "yawned" for mine... cuz i totally agree. I yawned it too! this one just lost all my enthusiasm.
and frank... i agree... the paper and desk is my fav part.... and thats my original photo... so i cant take much credit for that! haha!
