Posting Etiquette: When you post, Please include a few images of the inspiration. (even if the characters or shows you choose seem obvious to you... its nice to have the comparison)
Labels: Make sure you add labels when you upload. This makes it easier for your art to come up in a search engine. So add labels like the project number... your name...the inspiration... anything to help traffic.
Think i'm going to do Teen Wolf mashed with Marty McFly.
ReplyDeleteI have an ammendment to the posting etiquette: if you post your inspiration, do not post it as the top image.... Post it as the bottom image. The top image is the one that will show up in the side bar, so its best if u make your piece on top.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do Inspector Gadget mashed with the Terminator!
ReplyDeleteSo is it horror villian or just 80s villian. Now I am confused. I like the idea of it being just an 80s villian, but I thought it was horror themed
ReplyDeleteI think u can be flexible.... I consider terminator 1 as a horror/action/thriller... Teen wolf is kinda a horror monster... But a comedy movie. I think the theme is just a starting point for inspiration
ReplyDeleteI just realized that while Teen Wolf is within the parameters of this challenge. Marty McFly was not a cartoon character until 1991. I'll leave it up to you guys if this will "fly" or not.
ReplyDeleteI think its up to shawn whether your chosen cartoons/villains are too far off from the proposed theme this week. Since we voted on HIS idea he can decide. But in general i think it would be best if we remain somewhat flexible.
ReplyDeleteyeah we'll leave it to Shawn to decide then.
ReplyDeleteAHAHAHA!!! i just got the all time best idea of all.... So far ive changed my ideas 3 times... now i gotta start over again.. but this idea is worth it!
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda done with mine... But I'll tweak it til I run out of time
ReplyDeleteray, a week is almost TOO long for me. im almost done with my first and halfway thru my second. i think im TOO excited about the projects so far... this whole blog is the most motivational tool to come up since art school.
ReplyDeleteI did like 30 thumbnail ideas and finally settled on mine, and I REALLY like it. This has been a great project, and I'm stoked to see everybody's stuff
